During our visit to the principal’s office building, we got an up-close look at how the network is set up. There was a Globe router/modem connecting the building to the internet, and we also saw the telephone system integrated into the network, so voice communication runs through it as well. A TP-Link router was there, too, providing wireless access for all the devices in the office. Seeing this setup made me realize just how essential these devices are in keeping everything connected and running smoothly.
This experience gave me a much better understanding of how different parts of a network work together. Each device plays a specific role—whether it’s providing internet access or enabling communication—and all these pieces are crucial to a well-functioning network. It was a really valuable, hands-on lesson in how computer networks are built and maintained, and it definitely sparked my curiosity to learn more about how they operate.
